There is so much to discover in the lives of our ancestors

–

you just have to start looking.

How and where did they live?
How did they earn their living?
Were they city dwellers or villagers?
Emigrants, or rooted on the same farm for generations?

Let me answer these and many other questions for you.

I am happy to support you in researching your family history. Whether it is genealogical research or building a family tree, I pick up where you cannot get any further on your own – and I find your ancestors.

I carry out archive research for you at locations that are out of reach for you due to distance.

I show you how to get started with your own research and which mistakes to avoid.

I accompany you to the archive to find the right sources and, together with you, decipher the secrets of old handwriting.

I have 40 years of experience in family research and know the sources and archives of the Rhineland, i.e. the former Prussian Rhine Province.

Whether civil registration records, church book entries, population lists, lease registers or other archival sources – I will find the traces of your family.

Feel free to describe your request in my contact form, and I will get back to you promptly.
